Getting to Know the Pacos Crew

Meet Luca Robillard

If you’ve been in the shop this summer you may have had the pleasure of meeting 19 year old, Luca Robillard. We are stoked to have back in the Truckee shop for his 6th season with us! This Truckee native grew up ski racing and riding trails with his mom before he started mountain bike racing in 8th grade. When he was fourteen, this lucky kid inherited a retired racing bike from five-time Olympian, Katerina Nash. This motivated him to ride harder and faster, giving him the confidence he needed to succeed in racing.

Today Luca rides a Specialized Stumpjumper (when it’s not riding around in his car waiting to be ridden!) He was cagey about sharing his favorite secret trails with us, but admits he does like a good Big Chief lap. He was less shy about sharing who his favorite shop dog was (Greeley Bear!) and favorite shop bikes (the super sweet S-Works Enduro in Truckee and the Aethos at the Sacramento shop). If you haven’t had a chance to meet Luca yet, be sure and stop in for some high fives before he heads to UCSC this fall! 

Who knows, maybe he’ll teach you his wheelie trick!
