The Pacos Ladies Ride
Start looking forward to every Tuesday night this summer — The Pacos Ladies Ride meets at the shop every Tuesday at 5:30 pm for a fun packed girl powered mountain bike ride. There is nothing like joining a group of like-minded woman for an evening of exercise and crisp mountain air as the last few magical hours of daylight fade out. Join in for high fives, encouragement, learning, fun, friends and some stoke exchange.
Who will create the magic behind these rides? Meet Sarah Krammen. Sarah is no stranger to leadership and adventure. Her insatiable adventure thirst started with a passion for hiking that took her 273 miles from Massachusetts to Canada on the Long Trail, to the top of the highest mountain in every New England state, 211 miles on the John Muir Trail in California and many more hiking treks in between. In 2015 when Sarah moved out to Truckee to join friends, she was coaxed into the world of biking and in the summer of 2017 spent 40 days traveling by bicycle across Canada from Vancouver to Montreal. These days she can often be found standing on the podium most recently with a 3rd place finish in the Sagan Fondo, 2nd place in the Hoot Trail XC race and she is looking forward to the California Enduro Series this summer starting this weekend in Monterey Bay.
When she’s not riding, Sarah is teaching mathematics at Truckee High School and coaching the Truckee North Tahoe Junior Devo Cycling Team. If she can make fractions exciting, just imagine how fun a ride down the twists and turns of Truckee’s singletrack will be. Come join the fun this summer on Tuesday nights. Call the shop if you have questions. This ride is fueled by a fun vibe and high fives — all levels welcome. That means you, let’s have some fun.
